After 12 years of sitting outside in the California sun, it was time for a little attention. The paint was cracking, the interior was disintegrating, and the fuel system and gas tank were clogged with goo.

Like most 2B ur quattro restorations, the entire wiring system was removed and replaced with a newer more reliable harness.

We began the body and paint work. You never know what is under the paint. This one turned out to be more paint, body filler, and a little rust. The photo shows some of the layers. After sanding to the metal, the body didn’t need all the filler that was on it. So we leveled all the panels and gave it a shiny new paint job. We replaced the destroyed rear wing with a 2B composite OE Matte Black replica.

Transformed, the car now has a fresh AAN code 20v turbo 5 cylinder engine, 2B Software with modified AAN wiring harness, S2 intake manifold, 2B modified RS2 airbox, 2B Silicone hoses, 2B intake pipes, Hydraulic brake system replaced with vacuum booster, 2B Radiator and fan system with full functioning Air conditioning with rotary compressor.

The interior updates include later dash, all reupholstered seats and door panels, headliner, and modern sound system.

The suspension is now 2B Coil Program height and rate adjustable, 2B control arm bushings, fresh brakes, new tires, and lots of mechanical repairs to make it better than new.
